There are very few things on TV that I watch. House MD is one of those those, in fact, I am obsessed. I was thrilled when I found Dr. Greg House up on Mod the Sims 2, but I didn’t see rest of the staff so I set out to create them and here they are. All sims are dressed in Maxis default clothes (you will have to find your own doctor clothes. I think I found some over at TSR) and I tried really hard not to use any custom content in them, but I can’t promise that there isn’t any. House is just in the picture for show, you will have to download him at Mod the Sims 2.

What’s Wrong With Tila?
November 26, 2006 · 1 Comment
“She’s going crazy, man.” Shaggy later told Velma. “I mean, this is the first that I have met her, but it seems that any sort of celebrity shouldn’t be dating a mop. That’s just not good for publicty, man.”
“There is nothing wrong with dating a mop.” She told our reporter. “If people can accept interracial and gay relationships, they should be able to accept this. I mean, thousands upon thousands of women have meaningful relationships with vibrators and dildos and they are inanimate objects. What’s the difference between those and a mop?”
Yes, what is the difference?

The citizens of Sim City are used to all kinds of strangeness from alien abductions to talking llamas, but some people have had enough. Those people that want to escape from the weirdness have started migrating to a small island off the coast of Sim City called Nostira. Nostria was named after the left nostril of the aborigine that discovered the island.
Hidden amoung it’s citizens there is at least one vampire, the meddling kids from Mystery Inc, Tom Cruise, Marylin Manson and Myspace Tom. Nostria is also home to the infamous Area 51. Those that live on Nostria do not believe the story of Area 51 and are convinced that the site is nothing but old movie props that needed to be stored. “They have to do something with old movie props, they just can’t go in a landfill. I think it’s cool that they are being used as landmarks.” Julia Anderson told us.
As sims are living in denial, the weirdness of the mainland is starting all over on secluded island of Nostira. Scientists at Area 51 are sure that there is something in the water that causes the outrageous amounts of abnormality that go on in Sim City. However, they have also gone on record as stating that all tests so far have been inconclusive. The latest example of the abnormal comes in the form of the newest citizen, the Myspace Celebrity, Panty Smurf.
Yes, Smurfs are moving into Sim City and to the island of Nostria. The following films of Panty Smurf were taken right after she moved into a custom built mushroom shaped house.
Beyond the people working at Area 51, no one has noticed this blue midget doing whatever it is that she is doing in her yard. “We are scientists, we are trained to notice things that aren’t quite right.” A scientist who goes by the name Bob told us. “I did spend some considerable time talking to her, she’s very friendly. I think that given a little bit of time to study her we may be able to come up with a cheesecake that will help with the stunted growth and odd leg issues. With any luck this cheesecake will make smurfs as tall as other sims. She’s even voluenteered to test the cheesecake before it’s offered to other smurfs. Something about opening up a new pool of smurfing canidates.” Panty Smurf could not be reached for comment.
This brings up many ethical issues about using smurfs as labratory animals. Unfortunalty, at this time, there is no ethics commity or orginization that deals with the rights or ethical treatment of smurfs.

Technical Difficulties

Seems that there were some issues with the downloads that no one told me about. That means one of three things:
1. No one is downloading anything because all my stuff sucks. (Hey, it’s possible)
2. No one thought it was important enough to tell me about.
3. People thought that I knew and I was working on it.
Well, I was too busy playing the sims to notice. I was updating blog codes and checking things out today to make sure everything was good when I found the problem. Had something to do with the files being uploaded to my ISP. It’s how I did things before when I had the actual Sims Weekly World News website up. I didn’t do anything different so I just assumed that it would work. It didn’t. No idea why. I moved the downloads off my ISP to a free hosting site and now everything seems to be working as it is supposed to. So, if you don’t think something sucks and you want to download it, you can now.
Just an FYI, I do have the blog set up where everyone can leave comments, you don’t have to be a member of blogger/blogspot. Let me know if you like what I have made, written or just let me know that you were here.

Rest areas outside of Area 51 are now selling t-shirts for sims who come to visit the area. You can’t visit Area 51 without purchasing a t-shirt or two, how else will people know that you were there?

Trek Life

I love the comic strip Trek Life. It pokes fun of everything that goes into being a Trekkie.
After reading this last installment I was inspired to create Trek Life shirts for the sims, because even sims can be Trekkies. These are male t-shirts. Click on the images for larger versions.

There Goes the Neighborhood

Celebrities are starting to look at the small island of Nostria, located off the coast of Sim City, as a potential place to move. Yesterday both Marilyn Manson and Tom Cruise purchased highly priced houses.
Sources close to Tom Cruise say that Tom is trying to get out of the public spotlight and put the entire Katie Holmes thing behind him. “Tom has always been a bit off his rocker, but being under the influance of estrogen was just too much for him.” He was recently seen checking out of a Scientology rehab clinic mumbling something about theatens, women and cooties. “Tom will be fine once he gets out of the spotlight and can finish healing. Xenu will help him. He is just thrilled that living in Nostria he can be the person that he really is, and doesn’t have to pretend to be something that he isn’t.”
Until last year Nostria was unihabited. People didn’t even know about the small island until an aborigine named Dave ended up stranded on the island for a week after a mishap with his rowboat. Unlike the inhabitants of Gilligans Island, Dave was able to use the islands coconuts to built a new boat and leave the island. The island was then named after his left nostril as a monument to his ingenuity. The meddling kids of Mystery Inc. were the first to move to the island, putting it on the map.
“It’s a great place to live man.” Shaggy told us while under the influance of bubbles. “Like, there are no vampires, werewolves and zombies here. It’s totaly groovy. The scariest thing here is Myspace Tom.” When we asked him if he had heard that Myspace Tom was dating a vampire he said “Rumors, man. Nothing but rumors.” He also didn’t seem concerned about living across from Area 51. “That’s what the bubbles are for man, where I don’t notice.”
Nostria is slowly becoming a place of escape for those that are tired of the daily insanity and extreme weirdness of living in Sim City. Sims everywhere are sure that Nostria has not yet become tainted with the cloud of weirdness that seems to linger over Sim City. That is the attraction for Marylin Manson.

“Things have just gotten to weird for me. I need a break. I need something normal. I want to live like regular people.”

Lets Smurf!

Sometime back on myspace I misread a friends username, Partysmurf, as being Pantysmurf. I was drawn an interesting smurf to use as my avatar. She’s become popular enough that I turned her into a womens sim shirt.

There is a small foyer on the second level with stairs leading down to the main living area. Toward the back of the house there is another seperate section of the second level that contains a bedroom and bathroom as well as stairs that lead to a larger foyer/sunroom that was created as an excuse to make a patio.
The house is unfurnished except for the bathrooms and the kitchen counters and appliances. The only custom content are the 2 tile helios oval windows created by Windkeeper.
